BATA Home Service is only available for such article, size, colour, which is not available at the our store.

Any customer may avail this service provided under the Ordering Policy.

Customers selected size of an article, which is not available on such retail outlet however, the same is available in some other retail store nearby, from where the delivery of such article/product can be affected on the address given by such Customer.

Only one article can be booked in one order for BATA Home Service

To avail the services under this policy, Customer has to pay the MRP (Inclusive of all taxes)/invoice value in advance at the time of booking on any retail store.

At the time of booking article/product under this policy, a customer has to provide its valid mobile number, email ID and address for delivery.

Customer will receive all updates in respect of deliver of the said product on his registered mobile number by way of SMS only.*

Such product will be got delivered on the address provided by the Customer at the time of booking within …. …. hours of booking and shall be govern by our shipping policy*.

Once the Order is booked and paid for, it cannot be cancelled.

Return/Exchange/refunds are allowed on the such article/product and shall be governed by Return/Exchange/Refund Policy.

SMS Policy:

We/BATA will not be responsible for any NDNC (National Do Not Call) Registry regulation that will come into play. The Customer agrees that as per the terms and conditions herein , in the even if you/Customer are/is registered under NDNC, DND (Do Not Disturb), We/BATA INDIA LTD will have all the authority to call such numbers/members, send messages (Transactional/promotional or otherwise) and doing so shall not be treated as breach of privacy or any other breach under applicable laws.

In case of customers’ mobile number is registered for “DND”, we/ Bata shall not be liable for non-receipt of any SMS on Customers’ registered mobile number.

By placing an order under this policy, customer is giving his/her specific consent to Bata to process it’s mobile number and other personal details under law/regulations and unconditionally authorize Bata to send transactional/information/promotional messages on the shared mobile number.

Customer further gives his/her irrevocable consent to acceptance of all the policies, which, at present, are updated/uploaded on the web-site of Bata India Limited ( or which in future may be uploaded/modified or updated by Bata and customer undertakes and agrees to abide by the same. 

For unsubscribing, from receiving any promotional SMS, a customer has to follow the following process:

(i)  All promotional emailers are sent with an “Unsubscribe” link, customer can click on the said link to unsubscribe from emailers.

(ii) Bata & Hush Puppies (HP) promotional SMS are sent from different SMS handles. To unsubscribe from Bata Promotional SMS, customer can give a missed call at 7798811887. To unsubscribe from HP Promotional SMS, user can give a missed call at 7798811993.

Alternatively, customer can also always write to Bata customer care to unsubscribe from SMS & Email both. However, in-spite of opting out from receiving promotional SMS/email, customer shall continue to receive transactional SMS and emails in respect of all the transactions done by them either at Bata Retail Store or through online platform

- Shipping Policy

We are committed to delivering your order accurately, in good condition, and on time. Please note our shipping policy as follows:

We make our best efforts to ship each item in your order within 48 hours from the date of receiving your order or booking. However, in some cases, we may take longer, up to 5 working days, to ship the order as we may have to procure it from some other stores.

We ship on all week days (Monday to Saturday), excluding Sundays and all public holidays.

Currently, each order may be shipped only to a single destination address. If you wish to ship products to different addresses, you are required to place multiple orders for such different addresses.

To ensure that your order reaches you in the fastest time and in good condition, we only ship through reputed courier agencies.

For delivery of the products, respective courier agency(ies) policy for delivery of the products/articles shall be simultaneously applicable on customer and we shall not be responsible for any non-delivery, delay in delivery, short-fall in delivery etc.

In all the aforesaid circumstances and eventualities, we are only responsible for resending the product at the first instance, issuing credit note with a validity of 90 days at second instance and refund of the full invoice value shall be the last option and subject to applicable terms and conditions .  

While we shall Endeavour to ship all items in your order together, this may not always be possible due to product characteristics, or availability.

- Exchange Policy

We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with any merchandise you have ordered from us.

In case you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can exchange any merchandise bought from any of the BATA retail showroom or online from or from any whole seller or retailer within 30 days from the original date of invoice, provided that the article(s) being returned for exchange is unused, clean, and in their original state and packaging

Please keep your invoice safe and intact as it is required/essential to give the same to the store while getting your product exchanged

- Claim Policy

BATA products are manufactured with the utmost care and stringent quality control is always maintained. However, despite this high quality assurance, there can be few odd defective ones among the millions we manufacture and sell.

In case you find a manufacturing defect in the product purchased, kindly contact Customer Service.

We provide 100% replacement for major manufacturing defects, if the defected product is brought to our store within 90 days from the date of invoice

Claims are entertained only against manufacturing defects and admissible when shoes have been appropriately used. All minor defects will be considered for repair first and not replacement.

Articles covered under Claim Policy:

Claims can be lodged only for footwear, bags, belts, apparel and waller. No claim is admissible on socks, shoe care and foot care products or other non-footwear items

Definition of Major Manufacturing Defect:

Damaged/Discoloured Upper Material/colour fade/shade difference

Broken/Damaged Sole or Insole/upper crack/de-lamination

Stitching open/binding defects/molding defects

Shoe bite/pain in feet (maximum 15 days from the date of invoice)

Fitting issue (maximum 15 days from the date of invoice)

Upper broken

Assembly defective

Bad trimming sourcing

Strap cut/open/wrong strap putting

Buckles/eyelet opening

Adhesion failure/pasting issue

High Latex dipping

b. For Bags

Damaged stitching

Damaged/Discoloured Upper Material

c. For Belts

Damaged/broken material/buckle

d. For Apparels

Colour migration/functional stitch missing/wrong branding/zip related issues.
