BATA CLUB FAQs
As of 21 January 2025, Bata introduced a revamped Bata Club program for our members. All members previously registered into Bata Club will be migrated into the current program.
Q: What are the requirements to join the Bata Club program?
The Bata Club program is open to individuals residing in Singapore, with a valid local mobile number and email address.
You may apply for Bata Club membership at participating Bata stores in Singapore, or online on bata.com/sg.
Q: Do I have to pay a fee for Bata Club membership?
No, there is no membership fee for Bata Club. It is free to join Bata Club!
Q: Do I have a membership card?
No, we don’t issue membership cards. You may use your mobile phone or email address to login at stores or on Bata.com/sg.
Q: Where can I use my Bata Club membership account?
You can use your Bata Club membership benefits at our website (bata.com/sg) or at our Bata stores island-wide! Please note that accreditation of points or redemption of coupons are not valid at Bubblegummers Takashimaya and Bata’s roadshow events.
Q: When & how can I redeem my points?
Earn Bata Club points with every in-store or online purchase. Get 1 point per $1 spend (Silver Tier) or 2 points (Gold/Platinum Tier). Points are based on the rounded value of your transaction.
With every 250 points earned, you can redeem $12.50. Redeem online or at your nearest Bata Store, click https://www.bata.com/my/storesfind?showMap=true&horizontalView=true to find your nearest store. Simply mention that you would like to redeem your points, provide your mobile number for verification.
Q: What is the validity of Bata Club points?
Points are valid for a total of 1 year from the date of purchase. However, in the case of bonus points issued due to special items like profile update or survey, these points will only be valid for 3 months.
You may check the number of points you have in stores or on bata.com/sg, by logging into your Bata Club account.
Points expiry date can be inquired at your nearest Bata store.
Q: How can I redeem my coupons?
Upon receiving your coupons via SMS or email, you may visit our website or head down to your nearest Bata Club Singapore store (click here to find your nearest store) to make redemption.
Upon selecting your items, proceed to checkout and inform the staff (in stores) or key in your coupon (online) to have the discount applied.
Our friendly Bata team will request for your mobile number to login and key in your voucher code for redemption. Upon verification, you will be required to provide the one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number to ensure the transaction goes through.
Please note that coupons are valid for regular-priced items only and cannot be used with other ongoing promotions. Please refer to our Terms and Condition.
Q: What happens if I return or exchange merchandise that I bought?
In the case of exchange of merchandise, replacement should be made for the exact amount paid for the article. No additional points will be credited. Returns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our customer service team.
Q: How do I check my membership status, update my profile, and view my available points?
By logging on to bata.com/sg, you may access your information under the Bata Club tab. This page allows you to update your profile, check your membership tier and balance points.
At this point, your point balance can only be accessed at Bata stores.
You will also be notified via SMS in the case of membership tier change.
Q. How do I maintain my membership?
To retain your membership tier, you must meet the minimum spend and visit requirements within the membership year.
- Silver Tier: $0 spend
- Gold Tier: ≥ $100 spend, 2 visits
- Platinum Tier: ≥ $240 spend, +2 visits
For example, if you joined as a Gold member on January 3, 2025, your membership year would run from January 3, 2025, to January 2, 2026. You would need to spend a minimum of $100 and visited twice within that year to maintain your Gold membership.

Q: How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your Bata Club membership, you will be required to write in to customerservice.sg@bata.com to request for the cancellation.
Your personal details will then be deleted from our system. Once membership is cancelled, you will no longer be able to redeem any benefits or other privileges of the program.
All existing coupons and points will be removed, and will not be exchangeable for cash, credit, or coupons.
Q. Why did I get downgraded?
You have been downgraded from your current membership tier because you did not meet the minimum spending requirement within your membership year.
To maintain your membership tier, you must spend a minimum amount within your membership year. This amount varies depending on your tier.
For example, if you are a Gold member, you must spend a minimum of $100 and have visited at least twice within your membership year to maintain your Gold status. If you spend less than the required amount, you will be downgraded to the next lower tier.
